Teak wood features a yellowish, straight-grain heartwood and whitish to yellowish-brown sapwood. Without upkeep, it naturally weathers into a stunning silver-gray patina, especially under sunlight. To keep its original color, regular oiling or sealing is needed. Raffia, on the other hand, should be treated to resist weather and rot, making it best suited for indoor or covered outdoor spaces.
